Taking It In - While getting Hinder tickets at the Scout Bar, we happened into the weekly Obsolete August show. Wow... These kats have come along over the year since we last saw them. This weekly gig features cranking alternative acoustic rock. We enjoyed cameo stage appearances from the likes of Brian Carrion (The Crisis), Michael Harrison (Lao Tszu), and Nashville recording artist Natalie Stovall on the two nights we went. While on the Scout Bar, we followed up on a SCENE feature for the Mullet Boyz and took in an evening of the group's "business-in-the-front-Party-in-the-back, four-wheelin',ass-kickin', beer drinkin', wet t-shirt contest enjoying, bar-b-q grillin' kicker box blastin', Rock!"
